If such devices fit within the budget, energy, and weight constraints of the mission, they probably should consider it.

I can't blame them for not choosing to, it was, after all, a 90-day mission.

AMD Athlon Processor, 1.6 Ghz, 3 Gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics
