Star Textures Available.

The star textures are now available if anyone is interested. I hope no file corruption occurred since I have DUN and 10 to 12MB files take forever to upload. I'd hate to have to do that again! Yeah, I know, time to get cable or DSL. I'm trying to balance my monetary priorities.
Here's the download link:
http://vocalchordsweb.com/celestia.html

There's an Email link at the bottom of the page but, more than likely, I'll be checking this Forum for news of any problems. I'm currently experimenting with spotless textures of the hotter spectral class stars. I'm trying out different, lighter shades of blue and hence, their emission levels.

Post Script: I knew I'd screw something up but, it's minor. In the Read Me for each texture, I included a small set of directions for those who know nothing about locating their Celestia folder in Windows. The correct path should be as follows:
**IF you don't know how to locate your Celestia file:
Open (or double click) My Computer/, C:/, Program Files/, find the Celestia folder.

I think it only works in Celestia 1.3.2.
Because Celestia 1.4.0 pre 6 don??t accept star textures, unless it has an ssc file definition.

I am user of Celestia 1.4.0 pre 6(french version) and I confirm, the textures don't work.

Oops, sorry! I suppose this may be correct. I have Celestia 1.3.2 on which I tested the textures. I haven't used 1.4.0 yet until some more of the add-ons are updated (Stars Database, etc.) so, I can't verify this. Thanks for the Heads-Up! I'll post a notice on my download page. Unfortunately, I don't have the time (right now) or knowledge to familiarize myself with version 1.4.0 and create it's SSC parameters for stars. I don't suppose anyone else would be interested in coding an SSC file for them right now. None-the-less, if anyone does, I'll give them due credit on my website.
It should be noted that these textures are large files that may load slowly or, not at all on systems with integrated graphics or older cards.
I apologize to anyone concerned, for this oversight!
