Inspired by my posting about the movie "The war of the worlds" (http://shatters.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7520) I asked myself if somebody would like to build a model of a "Tripod Fighting Machine" which I could place on Mars?
Last year I have downloaded a 3ds-model of a tripod machine (the one from Jeff Wayne's musical version, painted by Michael Trim).
This model is more like a draft and has to be finished. Unfortunately I'm no modeler and I'm not familiar with Anim8or or any other modeling software.
Is anybody interested? Jestr, Runar?

ElCristou,
it looks like the one I have already.
I'm not sure about that, but the hood of my model has a black belly.
Unfortunately it's a simplified model (concerning the "eyes").
Nevertheless I would be happy if you would send it to me. So I can take a closer look at it. Thx.

Jeam,
yes it is the model by Derrin Proctor!
And yes, it is a very nice screenshot.
