Shuttle X-2010 ESA and Shuttle X-2010 NASA have been released.

Shuttle X-2010 is a babylon 5 shuttle found on the internet wich has been modified/edited to represent a "real" experimental shuttle with an ESA and NASA paint scheme.

I have edited the original babylon 5 model a little with 3ds max7 (removing the alien like parts), then i took its textures and modified them with Paintshop Pro 9 to resemble a NASA and ESA paint scheme.
I whitened the original texture to represent space shuttle white, removed some original markings, made a heatshield space shuttle like underbelly in dark grey, added some instuments to the underside, added nasa and esa markings in space shuttle and ariane style, and i added shuttle type info on the sides.
then i created some .ssc files to make the shuttle appear in celestia in orbit around the eart moon and mars.

My goal was to modify the existing model to represent an experimental space shuttle like reuseable spacecraft.

Hopefully the instruments are retractable :)
else they'll fry and/or cause excessive turbulence during atmospheric re-entry.

Very nice shuttle models Rob! Will get these into orbit when I get back to blighty...in good old Espania at the moment! Texturing looks realistic...nice job!

Ill bet the shuttles manufacturers have thought of that.
I figure a panel slides open to expose the instruments when they are needed.
