To those familer with Larry Nivens Known Space:

I have made a model of Phssthpok's Bussard Ramscoop ship, and imported it to Celestia. Currently it has no textures, but then agian i dont thing a Pak protector was intrested in painting his ship.

Please give me your thoughts

That is very nice; which way is the front? That dotted line- is that the scoop, I wonder?

I am going to get round to making one myself-
here are a couple of Paint images I have made previously for OA...

The Ramscoop is not in running mode, the front end is to the left, sorry i need to fix the flip normal.
The dotted line is really a cable that extends to the ships command pod and then a equally long line to the cargo pod which has the Tree of Life seed.

If you care i could send you the whole model.

Of course- a tether arrangement would be a good way to avoid the magnetic field and the fusion radiation.

I would be glad to test your model if you were to send it to me; hopefully it will be available with your other models for download in due course, however.

How should i transfer it to ya?

Jeam, just read the first 3 books (Protector/Ringworld/RingworldEngineers, the only ones that were avaible in French but i like this artifact...

With some luck and a lot of time the file will be located here
