nearly all Addon files stored on the Celestia Motherlode should now have the correct filename case to work under Linux without change. The files were fixed automatically by a script, which changed the case to match what is used in configuration and model files. A few Addons could not be changed though, and errors could have happened.
Windows and Mac users should notice no difference, and in fact the file contents should not have changed at all. If a files was changed, the original file was saved with the suffix "-unfixed" and is still available. Should you find an Addon which no longer works on Windows while the old one does, please complain immediately!
If you are using Linux and find any file which is hosted on the Celestia Motherlode and which doesn't work because of incorrect filename case, please complain too. Howver I also appreciate positive feedback

If you are creating Addons, please try to avoid this problem, e.g. by always using all lowercase filenames. Special care should be taken when creating model-files - apparently some software used for this has a tendency to use all uppercase filenames.
There are still a number of issues with the installation of Addons, which unfortunately are harder to fix.
