What do you mean by "testerial"?
English is not my native language so plz forgive me.
Please explain so i can explain it to you.
What i can tell you now about my textures is this:

I just used Paintshop Pro and modified existing textures until they looked completely different.
For example: i searched the net for a high resolution texture of the moon, then i loaded it in Paintshop Pro i used some distortion tools like warping and punching to change the appearance of the texture.
Then i changed the colors (applying a old newspaper effect was great) of the textures using Hue and or in combination some effects that came with Paintshop pro.
Somtimes the texture was stil recognisable, then i used the warp brush to make recognisable features unrecognisable.
When the texture is finished i made a bumpmap for it by changing the texture to black and white colors, i used contrast to make things more black or white to change the height of a bumpmap.
Changing this bumpmap to a negative image also created great results.
The result was the little moon on the left in the following screenshot

The main thing is be creative, take a titan cloud texture found at nasa`s celestia, warp it like crazy make it another color and voila you have a gasgiant.
Tell me what you mean by testerial and i can explain it better.
I hoped this helped.
