Seeking: quad-sphere.3ds

Post #1by RavinDave » 19.09.2004, 02:15

I can't seem to locate the "quad-sphere.3ds" mesh that's meant to go with Selden's "Planetary Nebulae" addon.

It's in the /models/ folder in http://www.lns.cornell.edu/~seb/celestia/planetary_nebul?_folder.zip
(I just now downloaded the archive and verified its contents.)

Here's a listing of the contents of the Zip archive:

Ahh!

I guess I never grabbed that particular file. I was working from a different download:

http://www.lns.cornell.edu/~seb/celestia/planetary_nebulae.dsc

... a single *.dsc file that cites "quad-sphere.3ds" as a prerequisite. Got'em both now, so I'm all set.

Thanx and sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for pointing out the problem.
I guess the DSC file shouldn't be available except as part of the zip archive, since it just adds confusion. I'll remove the reference.
