GPS satellite add-on

Post #1by tc_hager » 23.08.2004, 03:49

Anyone know the whereabouts of an add-on to position the GPS satellites around this mud-ball Earth?

Thanks,

Tim

Hi Tim
Visit http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/catal ... lites.html and scroll down to the entry called "Geostationary Earth Satellites." There are two versions. Hoep this helps.

Cheers,
Joe

I think all the GPS sat are in the eccentrics file, not in the geostationary one.

How many GPS satellites are there, anyway ?

Oh yeah,
It seems I mis-understood. GPS != Geostationary
Well there are a lot of satellites on that page I am not sure, which ones if any are the GPS locator ones. If anyone knows for sure, please post in this thread again.

Cheers,
Joe
