Excellent resources, selden! I've used them myself to create the Andromeda galaxy. For sure, look into those.

I'm glad they helped.

Every time I look at them I think of better ways to describe Celestia's features. Maybe I'll rewrite them someday. Certainly v1.3.2 will have new features that will need to be described.
