Some extra stars (.stc)

Every so often I decide to add an extra star or so for completions' sake: included in this file is the CM Draconis system (the eclipsing binary component is here presented as one star because of the binary star system limitations), Castor B and YY Geminorum, a few more stars in the Trapezium, and a few other goodies. As my website is in a transition state at the moment (work on hold during exams), I'll post the file here.

Save this in a .stc file in the "extras" directory.

Note: 15 Sge B will be located approximately 500 light years away from 15 Sge A. This is because 15 Sge A has apparently been "flagged" as a companion of HD 190338 in the generation process of stars.dat. The distance I have used in this code is based on the parallax given at SIMBAD, however .stc files cannot "override" settings in stars.dat.

If these fake HIP numbers clash with someone's existing addon, don't hesitate to notify me.

Howdy chaos !

I not only created new planets around existing stars. I created my own sunsystem. It is not far away from our sun, about 0.8 ly, so you nearly can see it while daylight. If you like I can send you a zip-file as email.

You talked about a limitation for double-stars. I think I've solved this problem. Take a look into the Scripting-forum. I am there and discussing some problems programming double-stars in different ways.
