Klingon Homeworld

I have been making progress with my Star Trek universe and have made textures for all of the major systems (Romulus,Bajor,Risa,Cardassia etc),but havent really got any web space to put them all yet,and I want to include a few more spaceship models anyhow.Heres a start though,I have a zip file including STC file for Klingon-this is what Ive imaginatively named the star that Q'onos (Klingon homeworld) is orbiting around,it also includes an ssc file and models of 2 Klingon warships, and medres textures for Q'onos and a couple of other planets.I have hires png versions of all the textures-but this would make the addon huge so if you want these you'll have to Email me

Hope you like them,if anyone has any more info about this star system or maybe a name for the star other than Klingon let me know,
Here is the address of the addon
http://www.ibiblio.org/celestia/creators/jestr/Klingon.zip
There is also hires PNG textures available here
http://www.ibiblio.org/celestia/creators/jestr/KlingonhiresPNG.zip
You should download the medres version first as the hires zip only has PNG textures in it.

Very nice, Jestr!!

You've captured the rather savage feel most fans imagine, and the green colouring sen in most shots in Trek.

Did you put Qo'Nos around the star I suggested??

Cheers,

With all of my Star Trek worlds I decided in the end to go the imaginary route, just to make it easier.I used the stars you gave me to position them though (sorry forgot to say this in the above post, mate)but as it is a bit tiresome to type in the catalogue numbers all the time to visit them ( eg HD 83983 which is where you suggested I place Q'onos,I made a STC file for Klingon an imaginary star next door to HD 83983.This had the added advantage that I could make the stars G type and control their size better also. Thanks again for all your help Jestr
ps for anyone with Emule you can get hires version using this ED2k link

I couldn't get that particular link to work... are there times when your site is unavailable?

No worries... I'll keep trying when I can. Besides, with all of the quality stuff that you put out, I certainly can believe you'd have a lot of traffic!
