This Addon uses a CMOD model to adapt the catalog "Quasar & Active Galactic Nuclei (11th ed) Veron et al., December 2003" for use with Celestia v1.3.2pre3 or later.

It includes the 2dF Quasar survey, the Sloan DR1 Quasar survey and others.

Does this replace or add to the "Sloan DR1 Quasars" items?

Veron's catalog does include all the Sloan DR1 quasars. Whether one should replace the other on your system depends on what you use it for.
