And what about Vostok 1 (Yuri Gagarin's spaceship)? Has anybody created this?

Looks good to. I might have a go at it after 'Atlantis/Miir' is done. But if anyone else wants to, then go ahead!

Howdy Green One,
The original Saturn 3ds was from here http://www.amazing3d.com/free/free.html , praesepe fixed the textures, I dont think anyone got round to a custom ssc for it, I copied one for Columbia and changed it a little, I have it lifting off from KSC. I was hoping someone would come up with a launch gantry, or some take-off effects, but it fizzled.....the amazingetc site also has some other goodies ie a classic UFO, there is a nice orbit for that somewhere, I just have it in a close earth orbit, adapted again from sputnik or something, anyway hope you feel better soon,
adios Z

I've try an .ssc file for my install:
# Essai de positionnement de "Apollo13/SaturnV" based on "Atlantis launch" byJack Higgins
# It does not be really realistic: at this altitude, right before the separation of the first stage, Saturn V is not any more with the top of the KSC, but I am unaware of where to locate it
