celestia needs a cam plugin

I use celestia while chatting on line and people want to see how im making the neat space pictures. So turn my cam on and point it at the screen to show them how celestia works. Can anyone out there program a cam plugin so that my pc finds a cam on when celestia is running. Not being a programer I have no clue how to make such a plugin but it seems to me that it would be a rather simple task of converting screensizes to say yahoos large cam screen size, adding what ever drivers windows uses for cams. With such a plugin you could have a celestia web cam site as well.
Please let me know if there are any plugins like this out there or if any of you want to write one. I sure have a need for it taping my cam to a stick pointed at my screen sure doesnt get it
