We like all. I hope that the reorganization of your Web site will allow us the remote loading of your beautiful achievements! (also, the 3rd module, which was not present when the site was on line, last day!) (AND the next ones that we wait!) All the models are splendid and work fine 8) !

Jeam... I hope to update soon the pages 'spaceships', with the recent additions 'Shuttle' by bh and the models of your ' ISS' in my catalogue... (I do not have any time to do this, alas, for the moment

Mike... I've nearly finished the ISS(complete)/Endeavour model...I wonder if I could host this off my shuttle page?

I was wondering if you'd like me to set up an 'ISS' page for you...I've got about 500megs on my account at berasan.com (thanks guys!).

As for shuttle ISS combinations...I don't want every model to have the 'obligatory bh shuttle' so I think these may be done on a 'request basis'.

I guess if the ISS ever gets to the stage of the full model there will be something different from the shuttle to deliver these payloads....over to Nasa on this one.

I just can't get over the detail on this model...those panels!

Many regards...bh.

Hi,
Site works fine, and nice models too! Great stuff, Orion Nebula.
ISS pages in my catalogue will be on line next week-end, (and the Shuttle ones), but Where is your Complete 2006 ISS Model, now? Cant see it on your site :(

Hi orion_nebula

Very, very nice model :-). How did you manage to convert the Orbiter model format to Celstia? I've tried this some times ago but coudn't find a way.

If I open with Anim8tor the 'iss_11A.3DS' then there is a texture 'METALCON.BMP' missed. Can you look if you find this somewhere?

I've a bit worked on your ISS addons and merged this to only one addon with one SSC-file, model-folder and texture folder. Further have I changed to JPG textures. By this way I could reduce the zip size from 3,73mb to 1,49mb. This addon is now absolute easy to install. It must be only extracted to Celestia's extra folder and the old ISS in solarsys.ssc must be removed.

I would send this modified ISS addon to you or could upload it on my web site?

Bye Jens

Hi Jim, you can do what you want with the ISS model,of course. My intention is to contribute to the Celestia's enhancement  .

I converted the model from Orbiter using the tool "max2msh12.zip" available on http://www.avsim.com library, but I couldn't convert the BMP textures to JPG, it doesn't works at least for me.

If I open with Anim8tor the 'iss_11A.3DS' then there is a texture 'METALCON.BMP' missed. Can you look if you find this somewhere?

The original model doesn't have these texture... I don't know.

Yes please, I want to have the model with JPG texture. Of course you can upload to your website :D

How you managed to convert the format of model of space shuttle into Celstia?[/quote ]
It is really a crude question... 'Orbiter' has its formats of models, ok: but it seems to me that creators, as Shrox, made superb models for the two programs, no? for 'Orbiter' [Space *Flight * simulator ] and ' Celestia' [THE space simulator ] thus, why cannot have we easy translations of models of spaceships, for example: this is not necessary for running the programs, but essential for perform it, naturally! Therefore, conversions of those works between the 2 progs must be salutary for all?
Jeam, naive...

I have a couple of things to say:
First(and most important): GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

then:
1) when seeing the transition from stage 1A to the stage 2A the size of the station changes. stage 2A should be Stage 1A+the new addition, but instead its a smaller stage 1A+the new addition.
2)when seeing the stage 11A, the current stage, and comparing it to the 2006 finished ISS, there are some modifications, like solar panels that were on the 11A stage and that dont appear on the 2006 final ISS. which is wrong?

I'm just going to hang on a little while, and have one big download session on this great piece of work. Especially if jpg's are going to be used for the texturing?

As for your screenshot Jim, it is simply stunning, are those the Alps I can see?

I tried to write a single ssc file which would show the current ISS at whatever date you viewed it (without having to chose one of the models, ISS 1a, ISS 2A, etc, from the drop down menu) but with no luck. It'd be nice to have just a single "ISS" in the menu, the model changing depending on the date.
Anyone have any solution? :?
