I'm in the middle of working on an add-on that won't be ready for a few weeks yet. In the process of developing it, however, I discovered a great view of the Eagle Nebula that I just had to share.
This image combines the central portion of a "NOAO/AURA/NSF" picture (http://www.noao.edu/noao/staff/rector/digital/eagle/index.html, also used by Astroboy for his Eagle Nebula model) with the 7.7 micron infrared channel of an ISOCAM picture of the Eagle Nebula released by the ESA/ISO, CAM & The ISOGAL Team. (http://www.esa.int/export/esaCP/ESAPHA2VMOC_FeatureWeek_2.html)
Calling it cold is no mistake: the nebulosity colored white is estimated to be at about minus 100 degrees Centigrade.
