Betegelge, Celestia Origin has an aurora addon. I don't know if there's a separate download.

To post images, please upload them to the forum by clicking on the "Full Editor & Preview" button, then "Attachments", then "Add files". Hotlinking external images usually doesn't work; I don't know why.

Also, I've moved your post to the "Add-on development" subforum. The "Add-on releases" subforum is for posting released addons, not asking questions about addons.

Celestia Origin isn't 100% compatible with mobile Celestia; in this case the aurora addon has to be enabled through the Lua Tools, which I doubt works on mobile. Why don't I just upload a modified aurora addon here.

Here's the aurora addon modified to be visible by default.

I also use Celestia Mobile. And this auroras addon has a problem, in which the auroras are not on Earth. See the screenshot:

So it must be a problem with my Celestia. On SSC everything is correct.

I managed to fix the bug. In SSC, it said Sun / Earth /, so I just delete the last /, and now the auroras appear just above Earth, not flying in space. I'm not sure if this bug occurred to anyone else, but to be sure, here I provide the addon with this little fix.
