Maps or custom constellations?

Hi, if this post is in the wrong section, please move it.

I love the ability to jump from star to star in Celestia, and I'm doing a fictional space colonization project, maping out the nearby sunlike F, G, K class stars. Starting at Sol and moving out no more than 20ly at a time, from star to star. For example: Sol => Rigel Kentaurus => DEL Pav => ZET Tuc => ZET1 Ret .... Colony ships would leave Earth for the nearby systems, who would then in turn settle the next systems out, on and on.

Right now I'm tracking it all on a spreadsheet, but I'd like to be able to create some sort of map in Celstia that would show my empire spread across the sky. I was thinking maybe a custom set of constellation lines, as that's really all I'm looking for, lines between the stars showing the paths of the original colony ships, and maybe cross links between inhabited systems less than 20ly apart.

Is there a way to do that? To put in a list of stars and generate custom constellation lines? Or a map of some other sort?

Thanks in advance.

The constellation lines drawn from star to star are defined in the file asterisms.dat
It's a plain-text file which you could replace.

The other ways that I can think of would be a lot more work (e.g. a Nebula mesh consisting of differently colored lines).

Thanks, that worked perfectly.
