Here's another small addon which places large telescopes, radio telescopes, arrays and other "esoteric observatories" on Earth. The educational value is pretty strong, especially to show the large arrays of radio telescopes. For example, here's the Very Long Baseline Array (interferometer of 10 radio telescopes) :

How about the first radio telescope built by Grote Reber?
There's also a nice list of sites here (with pictures), which includes the Horn Antenna in Holmdel New Jersey, not far from where I live.
