It was suggested that I share some of the add-ons that I am occasionally working on, even if they do tend to be rather simple. So, here is a current project: The 892 System from the Original Star Trek episode, "Bread and Circuses". The planet is a near duplicate of Earth, but one where the Roman Empire never died out.
Here's a screen shot of the planet as it appeared in the TV show:

Here's an image of what I've done, without clouds, for clarity:

And here's one with the cloud map:

There are, of course, soem spatial differences between the episode planet and the one based off of a true Earth map. By and large, this is due mainly to the fact that the original image was a 2D drawing made to look like a sphere, rather than a 3D rendering used by science fiction shows today. But I think I managed to get it fairly close

Also included thus far is a model of the Enterprise, in orbit above Rome (most likely the capitol of this world), an inner planet that was briefly described in a non-canon resource (which I included only because it added a little bit of substance to the add-on as a whole), and the wreckage of the SS Beagle, an Earth ship which originally made contact with this planet some 6 years previous to the date of the episode.
A couple of current issues are: The Enterprise is actually a generic model of the TOS Constitution-class starship, with no hull-markings at all. I can't find an appropriate model to use, but then I haven't had much time to look yet today. Also, and as noted in another thread, I need to find something that would suitably replicate the wreckage of the SS Beagle. For the time being, as a place-holder, I'm using an old model of the Adamski UFO

Until those issues are resolved, I probably won't be releasing the add-on.
Anyway, that's it in a nutshell. Comments are always welcome.
