Here's a new graticule (reference grid).

This is a polar grid centered on the sun, and along the ecliptic. Powers of ten up to about 1 LY. The smallest radial spacings are in millions of km. Angle spacings are 10?°. Usefull to study the planets excentricities, and orbital inclinations. You need to zoom-in and out to see the nice scaling effect. Of course, this is the same technology as Selden's graticules.

And here's a cartesian plane. Same powers of 10, one million km for the minimum spacements. Selden style graticules with variations. Probably useless addon, but it's pretty. Look likes some SF, Matrix style or 13th floor computer graphics ! At least it was usefull to me, as an exercice.

That's pretty handy... what's the reference line for these? Usually it's the vernal equinox or first point of Aries or something...

The yellow line should be the vernal equinox, but I didn't verified rigorously. If it isn't, this should be easily corrected through the SSC.

I don't see how the cartesian plane could be usefull to someone.
