To use Bcelestia, you must have the needed files and put Bcelestia and the needed files in the main Celestia folder.

I said to move all the needed files of Bcelestia in the main folder of Celestia, and also Bcelestia.

The text below is from the new version of Miremion that I upload yesterday. But the file isn't showed. It'll take some time to appear there.

Please put: Bcelestia.exe, celestia.cfg, celestia0.cfg, start.cel, libpng1.dll, zlib.dll and src folder in the main Celestia folder.
I did not created Bcelestia. I think it was Brendam.

I said that all files needed will be in the NEW file I've updated yesterday, not in the file you downloaded.

Here's the links to download the new version of Miremion. The add-on is divided in three parts. The textures are PNG and JPG.

http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/creators/kikinho/Miremion%20Pack%201.zip

http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/creators/kikinho/Miremion%20pack%202.zip

http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/creators/kikinho/Miremion%20pack%203.zip

There's a readme file there. Please read it.

Put Bcelestia and the needed files in main Celestia folder.

Hope you can use Bcelestia and my add-on correctly. With Bcelestia, you can see gravity, density, orbital period, and mass informations.

If you found something wrong or interesting in my add-on, please post here ( only if you want, obviously ).

Hi celestians!
I also had trouble in opening part1 and part2: but I found the culprit!!!
These files are NOT zip files, but are RAR files: you must rename their file extensions and they work as expected!

So "Miremion pack 1.zip" must be renamed to "Miremion pack 1.rar" and "Miremion pack 2.zip" must be renamed to "Miremion pack 2.rar" .

That's all folks!

BTW This addon is spectacular!! 8O 8O 8O

Ciao
Pierluigi

I've uploaded the fixed part 1. I think the new file is now a rue .zip file. Yes, I've also discovered that I have to rename the files. I still don't know if the fixed file is now in celestiamotherlode. I'll upload the second part soon.

Ah, and what is your opinion about my add-on. Found something interesting in my system?

I really don't know what is happening!!!!!!!!! 8O
I downloaded the file in my computer and it opened without problems. Do you use Winrar? I use this program and I don't have problems to open zipped files. Try use this program and see if you can open the files.

kikinho,

You need to test your zip file with a much simpler unzip program. Most people do not use WinRAR and refuse to add unnecessary 3rd party software to their systems. WinRAR may be creatting a zip archive that is not compatible with standard Zip.

For example, if you are running Windows XP, then you should test the archive by using the Zip software that is included with XP.

Not surprisingly WinRAR also creates RAR files, which is what happened in this case.
kikinho, please create real ZIP files and upload them.

The problem persists: cannot read stardatabase.
I think the problem is how WinRar try to unzip the files. It insists in putting all in C:/Downloads//Miremion.When I change this, the BCelestia don??t work.
You have to be using Linux or something ike that.
I tried it in Celestia 1.3.2.Should this be the problem?Maybe your addon only works in Celestia 1.4.0 pre

I've uploaded Miremion.zip. This is a new file that is a truly .zip file. I use Windows and used Winamp to create the file. This new file won't have more the Bcelestia. People had many problems with this Bcelestia. Bcelestia can be downloaded in some place in users or development forums I don't know exactly. Now the add-on will have only one file with more or less 85Mb. The file still haven't appeared in my "Kikinho" folder in Celestiamotherlode. So you still can't download it.

What problems are there with the addon and Bcelestia? I was the one who made the Bcelestia version of Celestia. Maybe I could fix it.
