That argument sounds a bit "dusty"

I think featuring women interested in Nature in educational tools is more important these days (role models etc) than displaying old "dusty" Greeks.

Here's the local horizontal grid alone (no model included at the center, since it's too big to be posted here). Of course, the grid is currently set up at my work location, but it's really easy to edit the SSC file, if you have your own location coordinates. A simple CELX script is included (without keyboard shortcut), to toggle ON/OFF the grid.

I'm adding a Sol "bubble" to show its relative size. I'm not sure I'll keep it there, though :

Maybe a Jupiter bubble too, and a bubble Mars next to Earth. Hmmm, layers are giving so much possibilities now !

The bubble idea is terrific ! The plasma texture animation is working great on the Sol bubble, and Jupiter looks great too :

The scale effect is very good for presentation in the classroom. I'll definitely add Mars close to Earth.

And all the bubbles can be toggle ON/OFF on the fly, thanks to the layer !

And I actually prefer this man model as opposed to the first one you used. Make out of that what you will. <shrug>
