I have uploaded Version 2.5 of my SPICEy Saturn System addon. These provide improved accuracy for the position of Saturn, its many satellites, and the Cassini Spacecraft. Please read the instructions thoroughly before running. Most of the spice files are not included in order to reduce the file size of the add-on package. The file FILES TO DOWNLOAD.txt includes a list of all the files you need to download to the add-on's data directory.
There are two editions of this add-on. For Saturn and the satellites, the two editions are identical. For the standard version, Saturn_spice.zip, the position and orientation of the Cassini spacecraft are accurately simulated. This would be useful for those who want to watch Cassini perform its various observations, but this DRASTICALLY increases the number of files you need to download to get this add-on up and running. The total size of all the files that need to be downloaded with the standard version is 2.95 GB. If you don't need Cassini's orientation to be simulated, then download the Fixed Rotation version, Saturn_Spice_fixed.zip. Cassini's orientation remains fixed but the position accuracy is still just as good. The total file size of the SPICE kernels to be downloaded is 1.07 GB.

Please note that additional spice kernels are needed for this add-on. I've separated those out in the FILES TO DOWNLOAD.txt file so if you downloaded the version I posted last week, you know which you need to get now. Also I just realized that I left out the .bc extension to some of the files listed in FILES TO DOWNLOAD.txt in the Standard Version, so that has also been corrected.
Positions for Cassini run from Launch through the end of the Extended mission. However, the kernels for orientation run out on August 25, 2009.
This add-on requires Celestia Version 1.6, currently in development, but nearing completion. Compiled versions can be downloaded from the Development sub-forum.
Among the features added in Version 2.5 of this add-on include:
* SPICE support for ALL of Saturn's satellites supported by NAIF. This now includes all the little irregular rocks in the outer part of the Saturnian system.
* Reconstructed trajectory kernels used for Cassini from 2007-2009 for improved accuracy in non-encounter periods
* .ssc file split up for easier navigation and updating (separate files for Saturn and major satellites, Janus and Epimetheus, Cassini, and the outer irregular satellites)
* Split Barycenters into a separate folder for standardized support across many different add-ons (just use Saturn_bary, Mars_bary, Jupiter_bary, etc. for orbit centers if needed). This is done in prep for a release next week of a Spiced Solar System add-on.
* Updated spice kernels for Cassini
* Improved rotation model for Epimetheus and Janus for period from 2002-2018
* Fixed error in Janus Spice_Orbit that cut it off in 2014 instead of 2050

Hello,
I am trying to download the files listed in the text file "Files to Download", but some of them appear to be missing. How I can get?
Thanks

Thanks John,
The truth is that had only tried to download the files from copying the url into the browser. As you say, had not searched the FTP web site.
Thanks for your help.
