Hi! I'm new here (just made my account) and I also just downloaded Celestia. I'm having some trouble, though, with some add-ons.
I need help installing Mira and Pulsars J0737-3039... they won't work for some reason. I have the newest version of Celestia so far. I read the READ-ME in the Pulsars one, and did what it said; and it won't work.
As for the Mira one, I did what the celestia-addons site told me to do, and placed the files in their respective folders.
Can someone help? Greatly appreciated. =)

Well, rather than start a new topic I though I might bring up a problem or two I'm experiencing in a pre-existing thread.
My first problem is with the Alpha Centauri A system addon from Arcbuilders - the planets and moons turn up but they are untextured, including any rings.
My second problem is with Rassilon's Eta Carina addon - neither the planets nor the Homonculous nebula (But the star itself turns up fine) turn up at all!
In both cases I have tried various way of arranging the files to no success. What am I doing wrong?
Apologies for derailing a thread, but this is really bothering me.

Currently worldbuilding!
Without knowing exactly what you did, it's impossible to guess what might (not) be going on.
Not being able to see the textures means they are in the wrong folder relative to where the catalog files are.
If you can't see the nebula objects, then they're probably in the wrong folders, too, or you haven't enabled Nebula rendering.

It shows exactly where they need to be.
