Need help for MRO add-on

Post #1by Galaxyforce » 24.09.2006, 02:04

Hello, I am making a new add-on for MRO (Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter). But I can't find any data for the orbital parameters for the SSC file. So will anyone kindly give me the orbital parameters for MRO's science orbit?

Google found lots of documents with the MRO's orbital parameters. Too many, perhaps :)

claims
Apoapsis altitude: 320 km
Periapsis altitude: 255 km
Arg of periapsis: 270 deg
SemiMajorAxis: 3775 km
Inclination: 92.7 degrees
You should be able to get the eccentricity from the first two.

Hi,

Have you done a model?
MRO was in my list but if it is already done I'll go for something else...

I'm not doing a model. I'm just creating a SSC file that is compactible with other MRO models.
