Almucantar cargo carrier for the ArcBuilder Universe

Hi folks...

The "Almucantar Loaded" is now available at the Motherlode:

As with the Dutchmann add-on, all my thanks go to Steve Bowers for creating the model, based on my sketches!

And, as always, a definite thanks to the good folks over at the Motherlode. Without their patience, I doubt that any of these things would make it online anywhere.

Thanks for the interest, and don't forget to leave something in the comments section if you decide to download it!

If you have downloaded the Orion's Arm universe, you will find both the loaded and unloaded versions of this ship lurking in orbit around various imaginary and real extrasolar planets
(this is the unloaded version)

Hello Folks,
Can you clarify to the French Brain-Dead (Jeam Tag) the different goals but the shared works between Arc Builders and Orion's Arm universes...
can't really know how (and where) to present them in the catalog... (by default, i had listed - just listed, no screenshots for the moment- one in Fictions pages because at this time it was just a system addon- and the other in Science Fiction ones, because of his artifacts)

Orion's Arm and the Arcbuilder's universe are separate projects; however John Dollan is a member of the Orion's Arm worldbuilding group,
and I am a member of the Arcbuilder's worldbuilding group.

I have made a few spaceship and asteroid models for the Arcbuilders Universe; but two of them (specifically the Almucantar and the AMT Dutchmann) were so close to the design philosophy behind spacecraft in the OA project (i.e. medium-hard science fiction) that I asked for John's permission to include them in the OA megapackage as well.

Even though the two universes are separate projects, I do not think it is too implausible that the spacecraft in one medium hard science fiction universe would resemble those in another.

Just to clarify the two different projects, their web pages are located thus:

ArcBuilder Universe

Orions Arm

Both links are listed in our sig's here, but I thought I'd point them out specifically.

And yes, the utilization of the ships in two different universes is really something that I'm quite proud of. Especially considering how successful Orion's Arm has been (in contrast, the ArcBuilder setting is still very much in its infancy).

Thanks guys for your replies, I'll take care of that for a next update of my pages... Maybe, in a near future, i'll abstract a 'Sci-Fi Universes' page (Mosthly Armless, Hoshikaze 2250, Orion's Arm, Arc Builders etc...) from the SF pages, dedicated to the multi-stage projects under devellopment...
... and try to add some screenshots for your works (as you can see, for the moment there is just a listing of the addons) if i find some time to explore them totally....
(If you want to point to me in private your preferred places and wessels, don't hesitate!)
