Holy Crap! This is your best work yet. It is spectacular!!!The detail in the accretion disk is ... well ... GOSH!
My only question is whether you ever figured out why your nebula disappear at a distance of more than 1 LY. Many other nebula in Celestia add-ons do not and can be seen from hundreds of LY out. Is it the way the add-on is set up???

Thanks

Yes, the nebula is set up to disappear at some distance, because I defined it as an ssc object, not a dsc. This is to prevent any interference with real stuff out there. There are two other reasons : the frame rate is better this way, and the nebula is ugly as seen from outside : it's just a sphere ! There's a small catch, however : while close from the black hole, you can't click on a star. Clicking a star will select the nebula (or some part of the accretion disk).
