Location of XYZ add-ons?

Post #1by BlindedByTheLight » 10.04.2005, 01:17

I think I already know the answer but just want to make sure I'm not screwing anything up... but for add-on spacecraft that ONLY have a xyz file for orbital data... it seems like the spacecraft only will appear if the xyz file is in the DATA folder. Is that true? If so, would we not be better served if the add-on's ssc first looked in its OWN directory (like it does for textures)?

Thanks

That's already implemented:

The directory needs to be named "data", but it can be in the directory used by the Addon, along with "models" and "textures". It doesn't have to be Celestia's own "data" directory.
