I think i have figured out my problems, i need to get the "flip normals" flipped right. It is really annoying some tines.
Have converted my L-5 over to a 3DS mesh, but I'm maxing out the number of polys that 3DS allows, so I'm gonna have to reduce them significantly.
how does 1.5 million pollys grab ya?
OK i have 2 new images to share, and one question.
look at this, it is a custom planet mesh. If any of you are familiar with Larry Niven and his Known Space universe, you'll recognize the planet "canyon" or as the Kizn called it "warhead".
For some,e reason the "canyon on Canyon keep appearing on the south pole. i dont know why this is, in the 3d modeler it is oriented correctly.
?? any ideas?


the last 2 pics are a OTV that will go with the L-5 add on.
