Sheron'nish trinary system

Post #1by kikinho » 10.11.2004, 01:54

Hi everybody! :D
I'm making a new system that have a G6V star, but the star have 0.94
Rsun. The star is HIP 1000000. This system is the most special for me because it have more than 30 planets!!!!!!!!!!!! 8O

Here are the descriptions of planets of each group:

Note: When I say "Major Moon", 'im talking about a moon that is spherical and is not an asteroid.

******************************

The first group: Hot planets

Shremokrnama, Omar-Romiris, Hell'nish and Omarianca are so hot planets that the surface is melting.

Norosmia, Gocomanumi, Arrelhus, Lunamona, Shomin'onjo and Rabs-omerima are also too hot, but the surface is not melted.

Our Moon is bigger than all planets described above.

Torimanaros is as hot as Venus, have a radius about the size of Mars and have a thin atmosphere of dioxide carbon and sulphur acid.

The second group: Planets that have complex life and liquid water

Boholana is the hottst planet of the group and temperatures are about 320K. The beings only live in small and hot lakes. The surface is so hot that life there is limited to water. Water represent 15% of the surface.

Panjermia is a planet that have about 85% of the surface of water. This planet already had complex life when intelligent beings of Remon'nickerema and Narshad became and colonized it. The atmosphere is 85% nitrogen, 14,5% oxigen and 0.5% dioxide carbon.

Remon'nickerema is a planet that have only one medium sized continent. Have complex life and intelligent beings living on it. Water respresent 80% of the surface. Have a moon called Lorokmona. The atmosphere is 75% nitrogen, 24,2% oxigen and 0.8% other gases.

Narshad is the biggest planet of the group, have a bright green ring and a moon called Mirastona. Have complex life and intelligent beings living on it. Water respresent 47% of the surface. The atmosphere is 70% nitrogen, 28% oxigen, 1.8% potassium and 0.2 other gases.

The third group: Planets that may have simple life ( bacteria ) or no life and no liquid water

Razrulregra, Jaremiquai, Mirramra and Jrelomira don't have any life and are small worlds and don't have atmosphere.

Glacitar, Bosnushumi, Alkamintus and Erstin have simple life and a thin atmosphere composed by about 85% nitrogen, 10% methane, 4,7% oxigen and 0,3% other gases. Glacitar look like Titan and have an atmosphere similar to Titan, but without the dense clouds.

The fourth group: Giant planets

Narshadramus is a gas giant with big rings. Tribons is the major moon and have a thin atmosphere of nitrogen and methane.

Halacosuminamba is a gas giant without rings. Tribocoga, Crovdarmus and Biga are the major moons with a thin atmosphere of nitrogen, methane and few dioxide carbon.

Roxima is a gas giant with small size rings. Imonitsu is the major moon. The rotation inclination is 90?, like Uranus.

The fifth group: Outer planets

Quaomonalusma, Rasumeloisni, Gorgemouns, Mercanbrid, Aluzimon and Queuema are the outer and collest planets. Rasumeloisni is the only planet in the group that have a thin atmosphere.

The system also has comets.

******************************
The K1V companion star: A 55 Cancri like system with 1 planet with life

The K1V star has 4 planets. The star is HIP 10000001. This system is very very very small compared to HIP 1000000.

Omunisami and Combara are very hot worlds. These planets have a thick atmosphere, but because thay are very hot, it is unlikely to form clouds.

Comasnirus is the world that have complex life and intelligent beings. The atmosphere is similar to our planet, but have a radius between the size of Mars and Venus. It's moon is Zaral.

And finally the last is a Neptune like planet called Belliomariston, but it's a bit smaller than Neptune, have some asteroid like moons and a moon like triton.

******************************

I will add some images soon. I made a new nebula for this system. This binary system have the G6V star I mentioned, a K1V star with 4 planets and a neutron star in the center of barycenter.

The texture files are in medres folder and in DDS format, but if I can and if I have time, I'll transform DDS format to PNG.

The .zip file should have a size more than 200 MB.

And finally this is the BEST and most beautiful system I made at now. 8)

One day we will swim in the subsurface ocean of Europa and take shower in ethane lakes of Titan.

I discovered a new method that permit distant planets that orbit colder stars to be as hot as if they were more near them. :idea: :idea: :D

******************************

Here you will see what I did with my STC file:

Barycenter "Sheron'nish System"
{
RA 30.00000
Dec 80.00000
Distance 900
}

1000000
{
OrbitBarycenter "Sheron'nish System"
SpectralType "WC0I-a"
AppMag 15.8
EllipticalOrbit {
Period 1
SemiMajorAxis 0
Eccentricity 0
}
}

1000001
{
Texture "gstar.dds"
OrbitBarycenter "Sheron'nish System"
SpectralType "G6V"
AppMag 12.35
EllipticalOrbit {
Period 1
SemiMajorAxis 0
Eccentricity 0
}
}

******************************

What do you think? Now, with this new method, I can make hot planets even though they are in distant orbits and orbiting cooler stars. 8)

You have to consider that Celestia is representing the correct tempratures for planets due to the fact that this is the average black body temprature and not the surface temprature....You can however if you feel so inclined script a method to force Celestia to display the surface temperature using Lua (see scripting forum below) But if your trying to do stars or brown dwarfs...you should use Celestia's new method of binary systems via the stc defs...Other than that I suppose one such class of planet could possibly have an alternate black body temprature that could require some modification...

Stevensonian class planet:

A terrestrial world, these planets have retained thick, dense atmospheres which are effective at retaining the heat put out by the planet itself. So efficient is this, that these worlds have seas or oceans. Coupled with the planet's geothermal energy, simple life may develop. Advanced multicellular life, however, if highly unlikely, due to the lack of a high level of energy, such as a sun would provide to a normal world.

But other than that really you should be using the new implementation of binary stars in Celestia for stars if this is where your heading with this...
I'm trying to teach the cavemen how to play scrabble, its uphill work. The only word they know is Uhh and they dont know how to spell it!

I've updated again the 2 posts above. Now, what about my HIP 1000000 and HIP 1000001 systems. What do you think? Is it good, have something bad? I'm trying to do a most realistic possible system.

The HIP 1000000 looks like our solar system. It is sad in my first post that the system have inner, outer, rocky and gaseous planets like our system. The only difference is the number of planets and the star, that is a bit cooler and smaller than Sun.

The HIP 1000001 looks like to 55 Cancri, that have 4 planets. The difference is the star, that is smaller and cooler than 55 Cnc. And have a big difference: HIP 1000001 have a planet in a distance that permit water to be in temperatures about 280K. The water is liquid! Have complex and intelligent life! And also have a moon, that maintain the planet to be stable! :D 8)

In the center of the barycenter, there is a neutron star with some planets!

And finally, there is a beautiful blue/violet nebula around the system, similar to the outer and spherical Kokaubeam nebula, but with a different graphic!
