Celestia's default configuration shows Ananke fine for me.
Are you using someone's Addon to change the model and surface texture?

Don't forget that precise details matter. Computers do what you tell them, not what you want them to do.

For example, you seem to have misspelled ".jpeg". Celestia requires the filetype to be spelled ".jpg".

Wel, I have Medres Mars in jpeg and it s better than what the fresh Celestia offers and in that case you wouldn t mind if i changed the pics , which were awful at the most !

Maybe the problem is in the solarsys file about the jpeg and jpg mispelling...anyway thanks for your help..I almost forgot event if we are better in computers than twenty years ago...they are still numbs and unable (i guess) to think by themselves..Maybe someday.....

With the Mir model it might be not showing because it has a beginning and ending date, try going back in time or maybe deleting the ending date in the ssc file .In your 'minormoons.ssc' (which is fine in 'extras' folder)you must add the line Mesh "ananke.3ds" for example ,directly above or below the Texture line in the ssc. This line must be there for each moon model.Hope this helps Jestr
