Saturn-V (Apollo13.3ds)

Hello,

I tried to ad an addon of a Saturn-V rocket, downloaded from http://www.amazing3d.com, named Apoll3ds.zip.
After installing everything in the Cestia extra folder, it looks like something is wrong.
I get the right shape of the rocket but the textures don't work (7 .tga files). Only if I render earthclouds, the rocket shape is filled with a blue texture and lovely clouds, but that's not what I was looking for.
Is this .3ds not working in Celestia?
Does anyone have a working version?

P.S. I'm also looking for older Russian addon's from manned spacecrafts, like the Wostok and Woshod models.

Ruud.

1. Celestia requires JPG, PNG or DDS texture files and cannot display TGA files. You'll have to convert the images to a usable format and edit the 3DS file so it specifies the correct image file type.

2. Celestia requires all texture image files to be a power of two on a side. I suspect you'll have to resize the textures, too.

Hello, Ruud,
Yes, this model was fixed for Celestia sometime ago, see this thread
http://shatters.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2928&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
(If someone can offer a better .ssc file instead of the poor one i tried, welcome!)
As it was finalized by Praesepe, I linked his site in my catalogue  but it is on Shatters.net that you can find it really.[url]http://www.celestiaproject.net/~praesepe/files/Apollo13.zip
