I wanted to know if someone would make a page dedicated to the ISS and its progress within Celestia, because I've seen so many different models and ssc patches and updates for it that i'm just completely lost. Thanks a whole lot,

ISS Confusion
Mike, I have a model of the ISS in its current config but I'm not sure if my ssc is correct. Shall I post this model?..it's one of Orions.

I'm sorry about this but I think I may be guilty of flooding the market with cheap ISS's.

Well, I guess, I dunno, I was kind of hoping for a bit more of an explanation, of what models and ssc's I need to see the different stages of how the ISS really looked, like I've seen a whole bunch of models of the ISS being docked with a bunch of different shuttles, but I don't know if those were done just for fun, or if they really happened, and to top it off, a bunch of them never actually have an ssc with them. So I guess what I'm asking is for someone to sort through all the ISS models and come up with like a bundeled package or something of the ISS models that are needed to accurately portray the ISS from the begining to the present, or even longer if there are any models available. Understand what I'm tryin to say? Thanks.
Yes I get you. Orion had a good set of models of all the different stages of the ISS being built - but he's gone for the time being.
As far as various shuttle models docked with the ISS...some are of course made up 'for fun'.
As for making sscs to go with the various models...it's just not my thing I'm afraid.
I'm just trying to supply as many models I can to fit individuals prefered scenarios. If there's a model you want to use you'll just have to find the ssc for yourself or make one up.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Jeam might have the progressive models of the ISS that Orion Nebula produced.
As for the SSC, there were some references to the first two stages on the following posting;
http://www.celestiaproject.net/forum/viewtopic ... c&start=15
Obviously, the dates need adapting for each additional stage which I don't have to hand at the moment, as I'm only running the completed version of the ISS.
I'm sure someone else can provide these.
regards

Yes, i have copies of all addons that I show a picture in my repertory: so for the evolutive ISS http://jeam.tag.free.fr/CELESTIAhtml/CelestiaAddons-Spacecrafts-ISS1 i have the great Orion's translation for CELESTIA of the Orbiter models... I've reorganized the different stages (different dowloaded zips on Orion's site) in one pack, because some textures are the same for lot of models. I can zip and send it somewhere, if it can help. Jeam
NOTA: The 6A-stage (STS-100) is a naked one: i prefer the BH version with the Shuttle docked

Jeam... if you have Orions models of the ISS I would be keen on setting up an 'ISS' page...I have the webspace. I did get his permission to do this before he went away...I just didn't have the models downloaded!
Orions models of the different stage builds did come with an ssc for each stage so there shouldn't be a problem translating the various builds into Celestia.
I'm willing to have a go at this when I've cracked 'Mir/Atlantis'.
What do you think?

Well, my midterms will be over tomorow, so maybe i'll get a little time to do some research and try to help sort out this mess. I guess the first thing that really needs to be done is make a list of all the stages/steps/missions that have occured in building the ISS. Then it's just a matter of using the present models and making ssc's and xyz to put it ll together. I know, I know, it's a lot easier said then done. Well, maybe I can start a news group for this project, if anyone else is interested. After my last test tomorrow, Ill start putting together a list of everything that needs to be done. Sound good?
Mike...Each of Orions 'ISS in progress' models comes with its own ssc...
That solves your problem here...no?
Check out

Hello Bh. Ive some problems to load zip files on my FTP pages (??), so i loaded my ISS-Evolution directory unzipped

http://jeam.tag.free.fr/CELESTIAhtml/tmp/ISS-Evolution(Orion)/
There are original Models, Textures and .ssc Files, PLUS a 'lire.text' (readme) that i wrote to remenber the detailled stages/missions -with lot of url: do not sure that all is perfect, but i think it's a good summary.
Hope this can help, Jeam

Alas, Mike: on my pages, some links must be out, when the sites like the Orion Neb one died

I will correct links and other little errors next week... when a nice ISS Central by BH will work

For the moment, you can download the ISS Evolution (not zipped, sorry) with the link i posted, see my reply above. Jeam
