Iss Question

Post #1by billybob884 » 09.11.2003, 03:58

I've seen soo many add-ons for the ISS, a lot of them shuttles docking with it, but very few ssc files. Would someone please explain basically where I could find an ssc file(s) that would put all of these dockings together at the right time period, because I really don't know that much about the ISS, and it is really starting to confuse me. Thanks a whole lot for your help.
Mike M.

Hello Mike...sorry, my fault. I did assume that we would substitute the model only for Celestias default. If it's any help...here's the ssc I'm using for the complete version with 'Endeavour':

"ISS/Endeavour" "Sol/Earth"
{
Class "spacecraft"
Mesh "newissend2.3DS"
Radius 0.030
Beginning 2452602 # P1 Truss Launch Nov 23, 2002
#Ending Mission STS-114 Endeavour Sept. 12 - Oct. 10, 2004

EllipticalOrbit # Orbit Updated 28-Sept-03 15:45 UTC
{
Period 0.064006944 # minutes/1440
SemiMajorAxis 6759
Eccentricity 0.0006066
Inclination 51.631
AscendingNode 164.484
ArgOfPericenter 22.285
MeanAnomaly 23.348
Epoch 2452921.344
}

Orientation [120 0 0 1]
Obliquity -35.5
RotationOffset 120
Albedo 0.10
}

I think the code was from TERRIER? I do agree that the sscs for the 'building' models will have to be correctly dated and aligned orbit wise...it's an on-going project.

I need to update my shuttle page with these new models from Orion...if you haven't got this model yet...here's the link:
http://www.berasan.com/celestia/newissend.zip It's over 1meg I'm afraid!

Atlantis/Mir coming soon...with new Soyuz!!!

Regards...sober bh.

No, definitely not from me, in fact I've not seen this SSC before. I would guess that Orion Nebula did it?
