Just for fun...

Hi all,
Just thought i'd share a few pics of something i've been messing with,
it's a sort of Terminator 3 Chopper...

OK. Since this is not exactly a realworld model, I am now happy to accept offers on modelmaking any sci-fi ships for Celestia, although I would prefer requests for real-world spacecraft if anyone wants them.

Joining the Celestia group has done wonders for me, i haven't been this prolific in modelmaking for a long time :)

regards
Tony.

I know the feeling, Tony. Celestia has got me mucking about with textures, heightfield generators, star mapping utilities and programming, all at the same time! Sometimes it just needs a prod in the right direction to get one enthused :D

Regarding models I'd like to see in Celestia, some of the conceptual craft from NASA would be nice, like the VentureStar.

I'm having a few ideas about artificial inhabited Ring systems too, but those are just in the offing

A link or two to the Venturestar (now undergoing redesign, but I always loved lifting-body designs, so I still think its nice)

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/graphics/science/venture.htm

If ya really wanna go overboard on alternative designs (and have a yen for space history, have a browse around:

http://www.astronautix.com/index.html

This is a superb site I've been visiting for years. It has alternative designs covering a lot of 'what if' scenarios...such as a continued Gemini program.

Oh, and it has rockets, rockets, more rockets and a few rockets too

Hope these are of use,

Cormoran
