MARINER 9

Post #1by TERRIER » 27.05.2003, 21:10

Since downloading anim8or a couple of weeks ago I decided to contribute a model of MARINER 9 to CELESTIA

Here are some screenshots;

Special thanks must go to Jack Higgins (who else!) for helping out with the foil effects and louvre grills and for making the model available on his website.

Here is the direct link for the download (337kb zipped);

Whoah!, just wait on a miniute ElPelado, I don't like the way you've phrased that.

I don't want to sound too aggressive but it was MY idea in the first place for you to model it when I sent you the e-mail and picture about a month ago. You replied that it was almost impossible for you to model real spacecraft as you were just learning. Since downloading anim8or I thought I'd have a go myself. The only 'stealing' I've done is my own idea in the first place.

But hey, there's still nothing stopping you from modelling MARINER 9, just look at how many spaceshuttle models there are!

Anyway cheers for saying it looks great, and to any others with compliments, it's made those long nights worthwhile!
