yea i found em like a day or two ago thanks. i said i hadn't come across them yet. i didnt say it didnt have any.
i don't like how the clone tool always aligns the cloned selection with the source image. i wish there was a way to rotate the cloned selection before placing it. is THAT possible?

this is the system so far with recycled textures obviously. most everything is in place, i am going to add two new comets soon, Geri and Freki. and the big part is making my own textures. that will take the most time, so for placeholders, i'm just using some nice textures from other addons i have installed.

250MB is a bit big. For initial "beta" releases, you might consider including only lores textures, since you know you'll be replacing them.

the asteroid belt is currently visible from any point in the solar system. i like this because it looks kinda cool from the surface of an inhabited planet, but it is highly unrealistic. but who knows, this is a fictional system and it's my imagination so i could say that the "asteroid" belt is actually made up of... gigantic diamonds that reflect alot of light from Odin? idk sounds crazy but i like the idea.

I use the ImageMagick command line utility "convert" to change image resolutions (and to do many other image manipulations). It can do a whole directory of images with just one command, although it'll take a while.

ImageMagick is free. http://www.imagemagick.org/

I haven't downloaded your Addon. Sorry: it's just a little too big. My network connection isn't very fast.

hmm ok i'll try out that program and replace the textures. if the file size gets smaller you should try downloading it and give me some feedback! i could break it up for you if you want.
