Importing NASA's 3d models? (possible?)

While clicking through NASA's page, I found they have a few 3D models, several of which are in .3ds format similar to the Celestia plugins I've looked at.

Is there a way to import these things into Celestia?

I'd especially love to see the Agena Target Vehicle and the Saturn V rocket

Thanks John,

I knew I was grasping at straws when I posted. I was fairly sure that if it could be done (and was worth doing) one of the folks here would already have been on it.

I'm familiar with both those repositories. There really is some amazing work in both of them. I was just hoping to have found a few new things to play with as I haven't seen much new lately. That's not a complaint, I know people are busy and from the look of it, these models take considerable effort not to mention skill.

On a side note, I noticed by your sig line you're a fellow opensuse user. :)

Be caution with the EMU mesh, its high numbers of polygons is concentrated esclusively on the helmet's cameras.
Never at rest.

I tried this and the texture will not be shown, only the 3ds model will be shown

I cannot see the colours of the model
