Ross 128 Remake

Hey all

After taking some advice from Hungry4Info regrding the first solar system in the Uncharted Worlds add-on I have made some major changes to the system, its still a W.I.P but i have some screenshots to show this develoment. First I would like to point out that:

- There are now only going to be 2 worlds in the system and 1 moon.

Anyways here are the screenshots:

This is Ross 128 I. It is an arid world with huge desert continents and some big oceans. It has an extensive cloud system which traps in some of the heat produced by the host star. Temperatures in some of the world's dry tundra reach 100C. It also has one small moon. (not shown here)

This is the only moon of the first world. It is a volcanic moon with some seas of lava both big and small, although you can't see them here.. yet 8)

I still need to give these worlds a nightside map, though I struggle to create them. Also you might want to know that these are hi res textures so they are big and beautiful.

Thanks for looking..

Eh... you'll get tired of me soon, :(

The physics of this system doesn't make much sense to me. For a planet to have a moon in a stable orbit at a distance like that shown in your second picture suggests that the planet is far enough from the star to have a fairly large hill radius.

However for a red dwarf like Ross 128, the distance from the star needed to attain this would require the planet to be extremely far outside the habitable zone, and thus significantly less than Earth-like.
Current Setup:
Windows 7 64 bit. Celestia 1.6.0.
AMD Athlon Processor, 1.6 Ghz, 3 Gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics
