unable to modify Celestia

need help with modifying with add-ons. I have a Mac os x and whenever I try to move the addon file into the extra file (or the main Celestia one) I get a "cannot modify application" window. ANy ideas?

Sounds like a folder permissions problem? Do you have permission to access the folder? (Sorry, I'm not Mac literate)

I have too a problem. I have pc & window vista and I have a Celestia 1.5.1. I can't modify the file*cfg (Program Files/Celestia/cfg), because the rings of saturn is bad. please help me.

So what is the problem? Are you the administrator of your PC?
Since I am the only user on my PC, and I am the administrator,
I have no problems modifying anything within Celestia.

Vista is strange though... You might have to copy your CFG file
to another temporary folder, modify it, and then copy it back
to it's location in the Celestia directory.

Sorry, but that's the best I can do without a better explanation of
what your problem is.

I am not an administrator, I am client. Before a year ago, the modifying worked well as celestia 1.4.1. But recently, it does not work then.
