how to install the add-on named "starwars"

Post #1by longluong_maybach » 22.03.2009, 04:05

hi everyone. i am a new member of this forum.
1. i downloaded the folder "starwars" 3.7mb. i tried both of the next steps:
2. i put this folder into the folder "extra" .
3. i seperated each file of the folder into the specific folders such as:
cmod or .3ds or .cms into c:programs:celestia:models
.ssc or .stc or .dsc into c:programs:celestia:data
.png into c:programs:celestia:textures:medres

but i don't know how to function it.
so i really need you to show me how to install the files and how to launch the function of "starwars" as much details as possible.
thanks so much

Don't split the files up, stick all of them into the extras folder. Load celestia and and click on "select object" then type in HD 143761 and press enter.
It should take you straight to the system with teh star wars stuff.
