Add-on grouping

Post #1by Hungry4info » 22.11.2008, 17:31

Perhaps a silly question, but one I shall ask for future reference.

If I wish to make a multi-part add-on, how will the person who updates the Motherlode (Is it Bob?) know to put them together?
Current Setup:
Windows 7 64 bit. Celestia 1.6.0.
AMD Athlon Processor, 1.6 Ghz, 3 Gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

Well, you'll want to email Bob at least, and let him know.

But why make the files seperate? Is it an issue with uploading one major file? Or are you talking about multiple add-ons in the same "setting", but in different regions or systems?

It is either Bob or Ulrich...
Just let us know what you wish to do. If you describe the files accurately in a ReadMe.txt file, then
we can use that to post the add-ons where they will do the most good.

EDIT: Ulrich does the actual posting of the add-ons, and you'll get choices as to
where you wish to place the add-on(s) as you upload the files.
Thanks, Bob

Ah, okay. Thank-you for the clarification.
Dollan, to answer your question, the idea was multiple add-ons in the same setting. Furthermore, the idea is time-sensitive.

I haven't yet committed to making it yet, I was just taking a step in the direction of gaining enough knowledge.
