Well almost. Some screenshots of an improvement to a model I'm working on.
I subdivided the meshes and assigned each a texture. The shots of olympus mons are from a 64k base tex of (MDIM2.1)mars. And the shots from the vallesmarineris are from the ASU Themis image and that would be from the level6 VT I did a while back.
This shot shows at upper left a 4k, upper right a 1k, and lower are 2k.

Thank You for the compliment. I think it's pretty cool myself. Now I got to figure out how to get rid of the seams (1st thumb). If I can figure out that I may try to do the whole planet. And earth too.
