Thats right this will be the biggest system yet that I have made...I have broke down the files....So far all I have is planet III of that system ready for download...so check back periofically for more to come...way more

As always my textures are geared for Invidia cards with 64 megs of memory or higher...

Ok planet IV with 6 moons inc a comet...Too bad I cannot incorporate comets as moons...A bug in the software makes the parent planet the comet when the comet is made a moon...no matter...two files A is 10 meg B is 3...

Rassilon,

They're incredible.

While I was watching III at 1,000,000 x time rate, the clouds really seemed to be three dimensional.

Thanks!

np...Thanks...btw the 4 th installment had a glitch...

Delete these ssc files from your extras folder...

muphrid03.ssc
muphrid04a.ssc
&
muphrid04b.ssc

The following file consolidates all of the planets into one....The original plan didnt work :(

Ok updated system Fifth planet and First planet added...

http://cybermindtraveller.freewebspace.com/celestia/files/muphrid05b.zip

You will need both of course  Pay special attention to Planet V moon II...It has a landscape ;)

btw....Any of you out there with this addon, and wish to fix and/or name any of the planets in this system...Feel free to send your modified ssc file to: ksw13us@yahoo.com...Planet names will be used on the basis of what I think is best....fixes of course will be used...That way we all benefit...I am going to be offering this for any and all of my created systems...Let me know you care ;)

Plus if any of you can think of better textures to use for some of the planets....let me know or post them here....Ive still got 11 more major planets to go....And thats not inc the moons

Someone pointed this out....My bad for not mentioning it before hand...Emissive objects still allow eclipse shadows on thier surfaces so all that can be done currently is disabling eclipses while observing Muphrid B's mini-system...Also sooner or later some of you will notice the ring bug I spotted earlier with emissive objects....Dont worry its not my textures its that that portion of the coding has not been updated so all that I can say on that is just ignore it till its fixed...Or you can take out the ring portion of the star by editing the file...Either way is fine by me....Thanks!

:D Bitchin, This is how system's should be!

I’m trying to make my own, want to help me:?:

Also 2 things...

1. Muphrid B ouch :!: That bring even my system to a craw. Is it suppose to be a red dwarf?

2. Just nit picking , but I don’t think some of you comets would survive in the system at the relatively circular orbits you have them. I think that they would more or less evaporate in a few thousands years because they never get the chance to regain their ice from the deeper regions of the system.

What did you have in mind?

Nothing Major, you know little black hole 2.6 million Suns into an area smaller than our solar system, with roughly 10 million stars orbiting within a light year of the galaxy's center, dashing along at phenomenal speeds of up to 3.1 million mph (5 million kph). (Sipmle)

No but serious I am creating my own system with planets and what not and would jut like some assistance in building the damn thing. (I don’t know what it need right now) I am working on just getting the major planets and their orbital speeds and such and just trying to make it look interesting.

I was working on a galactic center at one point...But I put it off until chris enables stars past the 16,000 ly barrier ;)...And well theres someone whos working on adding all the catalouged stars currently...When that bit is fixed I am willing to bet he will be updating the database with the correct star plots for that area...

Other than that seems like you got the variables working...If you like I can make some planet textures for you...Let me know what you have invisioned for the looks of your worlds...
