Look to this 2 links:

It appear that Thebe has four big craters, and one giant(other interpretation for this image?)
I am contributing to improve minor moons textures,OK?

Thanks for the links,Daniel it is quite a good picture of Thebe, I'll try comparing these images with my model and try to get a closer match,it is difficult to get much of an indication of the texture though other than it seems to be quite light, though even this could be enhanced in the images to show up the detail.Of course you could always have a go at making your own texture for the moons that you think are wrong-you just have to name it the same as the existing texture, and make sure its a JPEG.
All the best-Happy New Year everyone,Jestr

The largest crater is named Zethus, after the husband of the mythological Thebe.

I guess the images are a little blurry for a locations file for Thebe,Grant ?Any idea whereabouts Zethus should be on the model (ie how can I find out which part of the moon it should be-judging from the photos it straddles the equator, does this correlate with the moon as displayed in Celestia,is the axis of rotation tilted some).Any help greatly appreciated guys,Jestr

10 degrees north, 175 degrees west, 40km across.
Given that Thebe is only about 100km in diameter, this means that Zethus faces pretty much directly away from Jupiter, but is displaced very slightly towards the leading hemisphere, and slightly towards the northern hemisphere.

I have made a new model and texture for Thebe trying to make it look like the above images. If you want to check it out go here-

Let me know how you think it measures up,cheers Jestr
