I downloaded the packet Janus1k,and made all the changes necessary,and also change the texture to janus.jpg and the mesh to janus.3ds,but this moon still mantains the texture of an asteroid!I put the three moon textures in the med res textures folder.
Look to my minormoons.ssc file :
What I did wrong?Isn?t to substitute the * for jpg?

i dont know if this is the problem, but you forget to put an } after "Radius 88.8".

I've just downloaded this and it's very good. Everything works ok for me, here's my new full ssc code in MINORMOONS;



The janus altsurface ssc I put into my EXTRAS folder, and all the jpg textures into my TEXTURES/MEDRES folder, and of course the 3ds model into my MODELS folder.

If the above SSC code don't work then maybe you have another Janus that might be clashing?

In Janus altsurface ssc,is it to substitute the symbol of the star for the jpg termination?
I think that could be all right now,but to know if it?s true,could me send how Janus look like in Celestia,or in other words,send me a photo of the screen.
Actually,I am not sure if it gets right since the janus.jpg is brown and my Janus still appears grey and very similar to the asteroid texture!

I deleted the extra janus models and the three textures copies,but still doesn?t work.I don?t know why,since hyperion.jpg worked without problem
