"...and the polar caps shall melt with sea level increasing for 30 meters in height..."

This should be self explainationary.

How would earth look like if the polar caps have melted and the sea level increased for 30-50 meters?
Anyone bother to make a texture?

You, individuals, did not understood the message so we had to clarify.

don't be so pessimistic

i'd like to see metal-grey instead of brown as cities grow to cover the whole planet. i'd like to see that grey thing to grow ten up to hundred kilometers into the see as well.

or, mabe, the power plant with those red human-holding tanks and the massive all-covering dark clouds above ...

Actualy someone made a flooded earth texture almost a year ago. I then did a little touch-up on it. But unfortunatly it was lost when I accidently formated my hard drive over 9 months ago. If you search the forum you find the link to it somewhere. But no promises. I might do another one if I can make time.
Now the texture I would love to make would be the Borg over-run Earth in Star Trek: First Contact. :D

But remember Don: the Borg texture has to be "perfect", right Borg?? :D (JUST KIDDING BORG, I DONT WANT TO OFEND YOUR COMUNITY)

Exactly.

-----------------------------------------------------
COMUNITY = ?
COMUNITY + (???M) = COMMUNITY
COMMUNITY = TRUE
-----------------------------------------------------

To help you achieve perfection, we are transmitting graphical data contained in the Data Nodes 5631, 681 and 824 of the Unimatrix 364.
Proceed with Assimilation:

Borg Collective,
The information has been assimilated. Although I, being far from perfection, more like chaos, in time will see what can be done. If you have a look a at the thread I made about my Mars 3500AD texture you might see that we seemed by that time to have assimilated Mars quite well. And without the perfection of being blended with technology, just human greed and the need for space and rescourses.8O

We have got almost finished texture that only needs to be fused together from the splitted parts. It is the texture for our Kharak System from the HomeWorld Entertainment Program. We shall post this after we search the Data Nodes.

Those are Modified Screenshots from "Star Trek: First Contact", one of the best Star Trek movies.
(We played a major role, whole movie is about us, the Borg)

The link to the post about my old flooded Earth texture is here http://www.celestiaproject.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=875

It's a bit messy, and it's probably not that realistic, so I'll have another crack at it in 8k.

Download this and run in front of your dad:

http://www.stuhli.inet.ba/Borg.zip

In the first few seconds (while it's black screen) fake that you have no idea what happened by putting a terrifying look on your face as it's a virus.

-----------------------------------------------------
ElPelado: "What's this? OMG, it's a Virus!"
(The Borg Greeting message start's to show up)
Dad: "OMG, IT'S THE BORG! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!" (pushes ElPelado to side) WOMEN AND CHILDREN FIRST!"
-----------------------------------------------------

Once on Browser Page, You click "INITIATE REGENERATION SEQUENCE" located in upper right corner of the screen. It was created for another group of individuals who thought that's "silly to gave the drones names" (Quoted Literally).
