hello all!
i have a question:
with which program i can make bump maps??? i have the adobe photoshop(with the dds plug-in) and maybe i can find some otherones.

and another question: how can i make dds textures with the photoshop?

You can't just make bumpmaps do to speak. The data you see on a bumpmap is from elevation data and them its interpolated into an image. Now you can sort of make a bumpmap by making a greyscale copy of your main texture and doing some adjusting to the brightness and constrast. But the results are never very convincing and always have kind of a strange look to them. The image will work as a bumpmap but sometimes things that are supposed to be at higher elevations will end up being lower and visa-versa. Just experiment a little.
